Reviews
The food is amazing so are the drinks but it is always super crowded and there is a wait time. Even on a week night (Wednesday 7pm) we had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table.
The portions are pretty large so try sharing and getting appetizers instead of entrees.
The octopus (appetizer) is super spicy I would recommend getting a bowl of rice with it. For drinks I would recommend getting a cocktails since they are pretty strong and go well with the dishes.
I would go back for sure and try different dishes.
An absolute must try! The quality of every aspect of this restaurant is absolutely worth our dollars. Every dish and specially the drink menu feel very intentionally crafted to not just taste good but to have a full experience. Prices are excellent for the quality of the service and the food.
We had the
- steamed beef tongue, delicious
- octopus appetizer - good but extra extra spicy 🌶️
- breaded chicken curry - huge portion great to share.
- mango mangrove drink: excellent and smooth
- Jonny’s always welcome: good but strong 🤪.
Highly recommended!
Overall, we had a good experience here! I highly recommend the battered chicken red curry. It’s definitely a shareable meal! The Thai papaya salad was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the banana blossom fries, and I thought it was just okay and not something I necessarily recommend. I also ordered the Tamarind Sangria, which was good but could up the tamarind flavor. All in all, I still would recommend eating here!
My experience at Kin Len Thai Night Bites was a mix of highs and lows.
The food was unquestionably a highlight - it was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, adding to the overall dining enjoyment. Moreover, the restaurant offers a diverse range of street food options, making it a great place for culinary exploration.
In terms of service, most of the staff were attentive and pleasant. However, there were some inconsistencies in their friendliness. What stood out negatively was the experience with the host on duty. Upon my arrival, the host appeared to be more focused on chatting and interacting with coworkers rather than welcoming or acknowledging my presence. It took the ringing of the phone at the host station for him to return to his duties and attend to me. Furthermore, when my sister arrived later, she asked him for assistance in locating our table, but his response lacked helpfulness and guidance.
While the food and ambiance were praiseworthy, the service, particularly from the host, fell short of expectations. Considering this, I would give Kin Len Thai Night Bites a rating of 2 out of 5.
The place is super cute with its creative decor! I like how they have divided the interior design into different sections and each little section has its own unique style to it. The food was alright though, I didn’t see much of the traditional/classic Thai dishes on the menu and this is definitely not the traditional Thai style I’ve had at other places. The prices are much more affordable comparing to other Thai restaurants. It was still worth a try.
I think I have found the best Thai place in Seattle. Kin Len is such a hidden treasure. The food was ASTOUNDING and truly takes an artistic approach to modern Thai dishes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good Thai food.
The food was exceptional! Every dish was fantastic. I love that the dipping sauce for the grilled squid was actually quite spicy! It's the small things that make all the difference.
Kin Len Thai Bites is perfect if you are looking for a bar looking atmosphere to eat in the night. Lights are dimmed to enhance your taste buds.
Lots of variety in the food. A few recommended beginner friendly dishes that you should get: Papaya salad, Kinlen Wings, Crispy Pork Belly.
For the intermediate thai lovers, Khao Soi is also a good choice but if you are looking to share, it can be difficult.
Don't get the red curry as it is average and you'll need to order overpriced steamed rice to soak all the sauce.
One thing to note, they ask for ID before going in. Not sure what the reason was but I believe ID should only be asked if you're ordering the actual alcoholic drink.
